Within the vortex of lines and sandstone textures lies the heart of Antelope Canyon.

I’m always intrigued by the personification of natural structures, but the heart of Upper Antelope Canyon is unique.  It is not embedded within a wall or even seen at eye level.  Rather it is formed by an abstract meeting between adjacent sandstone structures and illuminated by light pouring from above.  Looking up from any random spot in the vicinity and these structures form an unassuming pattern of lines and curves, but gaze from the right angle and it materializes in fantastic Escherian fashion.
