On a hot summer day the Salt Lake City Capitol Building anchors an intense sunset.

Though by no means a secret, this is my go-to spot to catch the occasional Salt Lake City sunset.  The Capitol Building is flanked by departing and arriving planes as flags flap in the wind undercut by the distant Oquirrh Mountains to the West. Upon this grassy lawn the rustling of leaves, barking dogs, hearty laugher, amorous whispers, and melodic conversations provide a symphony to complement the frequently amazing displays of light and color in the sky.  Though I am often eager to leave for more natural places, the wonders of this beutahful city in which I leave never cease to amaze me.
